Hi, I’m Pranay Kumar a filmmaker, artist, and a full-time storyteller (Because gossip enthusiast sounds unprofessional). Over the years I’ve dabbled in Photography, Stop Motion Animation, Filmmaking, and Installation Arts, and I am always on the lookout to dabble some more.
I possess a crippling addiction to obsessing over the simplest things, which I like to channel into my work and hopefully create some meaning out of all the chaos. I look at the world around me like I’m in a movie, poking around hoping to find every single easter egg there is. (If you’re unable to reach me at an odd hour I’m probably trying to feed a cat in a back alley or break into the local swimming pool)

I played a pivotal role in post-production, overseeing visual effects for "Shoorveer" honing my skills in managing complexities and contributing to a visually stunning narrative, while my time in pre-production on "Jaanbaaz Hindustan Ke" under National Award-winning director Srijit Mukherjee enriched my storytelling passion and reinforced my vital role in the creative filmmaking journey.

Following my role in post-production on "Shoorveer Season 1," I was invited back as the Director's Associate for Season 2 under Kanishk Varma, where I contributed to pre-production, crafting mood boards, defining the look and feel, developing the story, and meticulously planning for the show's execution.

As a Direction/Production Assistant at Nawazuddin Siddiqui's Side Hero Entertainment, I played a crucial role in the making of the film "Adhura Khvaab," contributing to story development, scheduling, briefing art and costume departments, coordinating with actors, and assisting the Production Manager in day-to-day logistics on location.
